2018 Artist of the Year

We are happy to be honoring Jeff McGlade as the 2018 Artist of the Year.

Believing in the tenants of teamwork and the idea that, in their own way, every one is number one, Jeff is a kind, sweet soul. He has been coming to Suzie Cappa Art Center for at least 5 years. Through his time here Jeff has explored many different mediums, from wood burning, beading and wire wrapping to collage making and painting. Over the last year, Jeff has excelled at acrylic painting, creating vibrant paintings with layers and layers of brushstrokes that create interesting texture and movements. He has actually earned himself the nickname, Vinnie van Glade, for his brushstrokes are quite similar to those of famed artist Vincent van Gogh.

Jeff works with great focus and attention to detail. Fun to be around and always willing to lend a helping hand, Jeff is an invaluable part of the team here at Suzie Cappa Art Center and we are so grateful to work with such a unique person.

Join us at Art Night on January 12th to celebrate and honor Jeff.

Congratulations Jeff, we are so very proud of you!
